Sugar Cube stitch:

The Sugar Cube Pattern Stitch is a simple, Stockinette-based stitch pattern with occasional "cubes" of Reverse Stockinette. It is listed as a multiple of 8 stitches, but working the stitch pattern over a different number of stitches is easy - just continue your pattern as established until the end of the row. (Charted version of stitch pattern is available at the end of the pattern.)

Shaping in Sugar Cube pattern is also simple. Work the shaping as specified in your CustomFit pattern, keeping all remaining stitches in Sugar Cube as established. As you increase stitches back in, insert them back into the Sugar Cube pattern, too.
