Is there anything more autumnal than a good cabled cardigan? Rowan's Felted Tweed Aran is a favorite of mine for fall: Lofty, warm, flecked with beautiful color. For the Talcott Cardigan, I paired a nice mix of Stockinette with modern, graphic cables. Talcott is a fresh version of a classic cardigan, with a wider crew neckline, cables that extend to the hem of the sweater, and a deep button band.

You can make Talcott in any length, silhouette, and size you like via CustomFit. I strongly recommend a worsted or aran-weight yarn to preserve the scale of the cables. (If you're making Talcott for a smaller person, feel free to go down to a DK weight.) The cables are placed just inside the cardigan opening on the fronts, and in the center of the sleeves. Adjusting the gauge of the yarn beyond the recommended range may cause issues with the cables.
